Abstract: The purpose of this study was to ascertain the extent school leadership affects teachers’ job involvement in the public secondary schools in Enugu Education Zone of Enugu State. One research question guided the study and one null hypothesis was tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted correlation research design. Population of the study comprised 10,112 teachers in the 291 public secondary schools in Enugu Education Zone of Enugu state. The sample for this study was 2, 606 teachers drawn from the public secondary schools in the state. The sample size was drawn using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The first instrument was titled “Teachers’ School Leadership Questionnaire” (TSLQ) while the second one was titled “Teachers’ Job Involvement Questionnaire” (TJIQ). The instruments were validated by four experts and their reliability indices determined using Cronbach alpha method. The coefficients of 0.90 and 0.83 were obtained for the instruments respectively. Data were collected through direct hand-delivery process by the researcher and research assistants. Data collected were analysed using Pearson product moment for answering the research question while t-test analysis was used to test the hypothesis. Findings among others indicated that there is a high and positive correlation between school leadership and teachers’ job involvement in public secondary schools in Enugu Education Zone of Enugu State. There is also significant relationship between teachers’ school leadership scores and teachers’ job involvement scores in public secondary schools in Enugu Education Zone of Enugu State. Abstract: Despite the effort of the Federal Government of Nigeria to enhance the quality of the learning process in Nigerian universities by introducing the use of ICT resources in schools through which lecturers will acquire knowledge and skills that would enable them source the internet and utilize e-learning resources for qualitative teaching, the attainment of the e-learning objectives in National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) appears elusive. The study investigated the utilization of e-learning resources among lecturers in National Open University study centers in South East Nigeria. Three research questions guided the study, while survey design was adopted. The population of the study comprised all the 724 facilitators in National Open University study centers, South East Nigeria. The sample size comprised 84 lecturers obtained through simple random sampling and accidental sampling techniques. Questionnaire was used to collect data. The reliabilities of the clusters in the instrument which were ascertained with Cronbach alpha method were found to be 0.71, 0.80 and 0.77. The data collected were analyzed using mean. The findings of the study revealed that many of the lecturers utilized e-learning resources for instructional delivery, research purposes and evaluation purposes. Based on the findings, it was recommended that University administrators should promote the use of e learning among lecturers by providing technologically enhanced libraries in order to support the use of e learning for the tripartite purposes of instructional delivery, research and evaluation.

The instrument used was validated for the reliability of this study, the researcher employed a Test-Retest method. The data obtained was used to compute the reliability coefficient using the Pearson Product moment coefficient based on the four degree of responds, which gave a result of 0.93 using its formula; Mean statistics and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions while the X2 was used in testing the hypothesis at 0.05 level of significance. The findings from the study shows that, it is very clear that the Secondary Schools which the government promised to fund and equip for Economics under the new policy on Education are both starved of fund and support. The table shows that there are few instructional materials for teaching and learning of
Economics. Based on the findings the study recommends that the government both federal and state should organize orientation programme conferences, seminars and short-term training programmes to acquaint the teachers with improvisation of instructional materials and how use of these new technologies. Economics teachers should be made to understand the importance of using instructional materials and also understand that skill learning activity is different from ordinary theoretical learning.
