Abstract: This study examines the relationship between electronic records management security and librarians' job performance in university libraries in Nigeria. As academic libraries increasingly transition to digital environments, ensuring the security of electronic records has become critical for maintaining data integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility. The research adopts a correlational survey design, analyzing data from 136 librarians across federal and state universities in South-South Nigeria. Findings reveal moderate positive. relationships between electronic records retrieval (r = 0.45) and security (r = 0.49) with librarians' job performance, highlighting the importance of robust records management systems. Challenges such as inadequate infrastructure and insufficient training were identified as barriers to optimal performance. The study concludes that enhancing electronic records security through targeted training, improved technological resources, and policy interventions can significantly boost librarians' efficiency and service delivery. Recommendations include implementing continuous professional development programs and adopting user-friendly electronic records management systems to support librarians in navigating digital transformations. These measures are essential for safeguarding institutional knowledge and improving library operations in Nigeria's evolving academic landscape

Five research questions guided the study and five hypothesis were tested at 0.05 alpha level. Data were collected using structured questionnaire. The study adopted the Pearson Product Moment Correlation to analyze the research question and test the hypothesis. Findings indicated that there exists a high and significant correlation between
institutional support and staff job commitment in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Abstract: The purpose of the study was to examine the information needs, awareness and utilization of research4life
databases by pharmacy undergraduate students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria. Three research
questions were posed to guide the study. Survey research design was used for the study. The sample size for the study comprised 169 four hundred level undergraduate students of Pharmacy (2023/2024 session). Information needs of Pharmacy Undergraduate Students Questionnaire (INPUSQ), Pharmacy Undergraduate Students' Awareness of Research4life Databases Questionnaire (PUSARDQ) and Utilization of Research4life Databases by Pharmacy Undergraduate Students Questionnaire (URDPUSQ) were used to collect data. Data collected were analyzed using frequencies, percentages, mean and standard deviation. The findings of the study revealed that drug chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, medications, therapeutics among others are the information needs of undergraduate students of pharmacy. The findings of the study further revealed that undergraduate students of pharmacy are not only aware of research4life and internet sources but utilize them. Authors: NDANWU, ANGELA IFEOMA; ONWUDINJO, OLIVER THOPHILUS; EZEJIOFOR, VICTORIA U.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of jigsaw teaching strategy on tertiary students' retention in cataloguing and classification course. Two research question guided the study. The study adopted a pre-test non-equivalent quasi-experimental design. The population of the study consisted of 250 second year library and information science students while the sample size was 45 students drawn through simple random sampling technique. A purposive sampling technique was employed to obtain two universities within Anambra state that have well equipped teaching laboratories, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwe University, Igbariam, Federal College of Education(Technical) Umunze (degree awarding institution affliated to nnamdi azikiwe university, awka) were selected. This is because researchers needed well-equipped universities with well-equipped laboratory and experienced lecturers, instrument used for data collection was cataloguing and classification retention test(CCRT), which was constructed and validated by the researchers. Reliability co-efficient of 0.86 were established using Kuder-Richardson (KR-21).Research questions were answered using mean and standard deviation. The results indicated that teaching jigsaw teaching method enhances students' retention in cataloguing and classification than using lecture method. Also, teaching with jigsaw teaching method enhances male students' retention in cataloguing and classification than female students. it was recommended that lecturers should be encouraged to adopt jigsaw teaching method in teaching.
