Authors: Alaribe, Christopher O.; Greg, Ekeh; Ipem, Josephine N.; Alison, Joel O.; Eze, Emylia I.
Abstract: This study is on Assessing the Impacts of Artificial Intelligence on Teacher Education and Competencies in Owerri Education Zone One of Imo State. The study was guided by four research questions. Owerri Education Zone One is comprised of three Local Government Areas which are; Owerri Municipal, Owerri North and Owerri West. The population of this study is comprised of all secondary school teachers in Public Secondary Schools in Owerri Education Zone One, Imo State. The population of teachers in Public Secondary Schools in Owerri Zone 1 is comprised of 1102 teachers. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 4 schools of both Junior Secondary Schools and Senior Secondary Schools from each Local Government Area in Owerri Zone 1. The sample comprised of 300 teachers in Owerri Zone One. Simple proportionate random sampling technique was used in selecting 75 teachers from each of the LGA. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire titled “Artificial Intelligence on Teacher Education and Competencies Questionnaire (AITECQ).” The reliability of the instrument was established using Cronbach alpha coefficient which yielded an index of 0.96. Data collected was and analysed using mean and standard deviation. The findings show that teachers in Owerri Zone One have little or no idea of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the integration of teacher education. Hence, the current teacher education curriculum does not incorporate AI-related topics or skills, leaving teachers unprepared to leverage AI in their teaching practices. The findings also show that teachers are not familiar with AI-powered educational tools. The study recommended that Government should develop and implement comprehensive training programmes for teachers to enhance their AI-infused pedagogical skills and build their confidence in using AI tools.

Abstract: The paper examined the relationship between electronic records preservation and librarians’ job performance in university libraries in South-South, Nigeria. A correlational study design was adopted. A sample size of 148 librarians was used. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection and Pearson’s correlation coefficient was used to answer the research question. The null hypothesis, p-value was used to determine the significance of the correlation at 0.05 level of significance. Findings of the study revealed that there is a moderate positive and significant relationship between electronic records creation and librarians’ job performance in federal and state university libraries of South-South, Nigeria. <summary type="text">Title: Customer Relationship Management Practices among Librarians in Academic Libraries in Delta State
Authors: Nwachokor, Isioma Maureen; Okeke, Ifeka E.
Abstract: The study looked at the customer relationship management practices found among librarians in academic libraries in Delta State. Four research questions were raised to guide the study while the population of the study was 156 librarians. Instrument for data collection was a questionnaire and arithmetic mean was used to analyze data in respect of the research questions .The findings of the study revealed that respondents practiced two out of the four practices namely customer segmentation and customer interaction but did not practice customerization of services and customer lifecycle management. Based on the findings, it was concluded that generally the practice of customer relationship management in Delta State still leaves much to be desired and that academic libraries have not fully adopted the culture of customer orientation. Consequently, it was recommended among others that academic librarians and management should continuously work at improving the relationship with library customers by implementing CRM&#xD;
practices, evaluation of services already rendered and the use of CRM technologies to increase&#xD;
efficiency.
