Abstract: The study examined how two private universities in Enugu state used social media to promote successful service delivery. The study used a descriptive survey approach and included seven librarians from Renaissance and Coal City Universities. All 7 librarians are studied. A two-part structured questionnaire was used to collect data. 6 (98%) of 7 surveys were returned. Frequency, mean, and standard deviation were used to analyze data. 2.5 was employed as a decision criterion. Major findings reveal social media's high use for marketing library resources and services. Based on the findings, the university library management should create awareness on the available marketing strategies they employ as most users may not be aware of its availability. The library should also organize regular training for librarians on the use of different social media platforms for promoting library resources and services
