dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Law libraries need to be strategically expedient in the provision of peaceful environment for conflict resolutions, considering the imperative of peace in the global world today. Therefore, this paper identified various causes of conflicts and discussed succinctly the roles of law libraries in facilitating effective information delivery in conflict resolutions. The paper also, discussed the impact of law libraries in helping lawyers, judges or court, law students and other individuals to acquire skills in settlement of disputes for effective administration of justice. Challenges and solutions on the roles of law libraries in providing information services for conflict resolution were presented. However, recommendations were given, if well taken will promote effective and efficient information resources delivery for promotion of peace and social cohesion.en_US
